Vedic Keshi Pearls

Keshi Pearls are a form of cultured pearl. They work very well for Vedic Astrology (Jyotish) when they’re the right quality.

Similar to natural pearls, they’re composed mainly of nacre. They happen incidentally during pearl cultivation, a bonus pearl that doesn’t have a central nucleus. Because they happen during the pearl culturing process, they’re classified as a cultured pearl, even though the way they form is similar to how a natural pearl forms in the wild.

Keshi Pearls vs Certified Natural Pearls

Natural pearls, in the quality we require for astrology, are almost impossible to find and very cost-prohibitive. Our customers report excellent results from keshi pearls that are round and lustrous.
