Tissue-nucleated pearls are the only type of cultured pearl that produce good results for Vedic Astrology. This is because they are pure “nacre,” or pearl material, all the way to the core of the stone. (Most cultured pearls have a plastic or bead nucleus, making them useless for Jyotish.)
